FS Notetakers

DanZ Games is hosting an email list facilitating the discussion of Freedom Scientific notetakers, such as the Braille Lite and Braille 'N Speak. Sign up to talk to fellow product users, and to discuss tips and tricks, notetaker software, and more. This page also lists a growing collection of files related to the notetakers. Keep the following in mind before you join:

• Please keep any prophanity or vulgarity off of the list.
• It is imperative that you respect the other subscribers on the list, and that you do not start any "flame wars"
• Please stick to the subject matter of FS notetakers.

Below are various programs and information related to the Freedom Scientific notetakers. I shamelessly list the software I've written first.
Notetaker Games! These are a collection of games I wrote for the FS notetakers. They are compatible across the line of notetakers, with the exception that sound is not supported on the M20/M40 models. Action, strategy, educational, sports - this collection pretty much has it covered. Start by reading games.txt, found in the zip archive.
Notetaker Programming Manual If you want to write killer apps like the games above, for the FS notetakers, take a look at this manual. It covers the creation of software on the FS notetakers, using the freely available BASIC compiler.
